We each graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from Bob Jones University.
James is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, having completed his Master's there. His portfolio includes autonomous vehicles, embedded electronics design, and biomedical technology. More details are available here. James is the brains behind the software and digital hardware. His primary tasks are managing the flight control and telemetry.
Daniel is an electrical engineer currently working as a substation protection and control engineer. His portfolio includes autonomous vehicles, alternative energy generation and storage, and of course substation engineering. In his free time Daniel likes to run, stand up paddle board, play ultimate frisbee or disc golf, play music, and watch Netflix. Daniel is the brains behind the physics of this project. His primary task boils down to optimizing available flight time through power and thrust analysis.
